September 27, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Pharmacy – Carindale

Police have charged a 37-year-old Mount Gravatt East man with armed robbery following investigations into the alleged robbery of a Carindale pharmacy this afternoon.

It will be alleged that a man armed with a syringe entered a Pine Mountain Road business around 12.15pm and threatened two female employees before stealing a quantity of medication from behind the counter.

Police patrols located a man in nearby parkland a short time later.

No one was injured during the robbery and the 37-year-old man is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow
