Police are searching for a man who robbed a service station at Greenslopes last night after threatened an employee with a firearm.

Around 10pm, a man entered the store on the corner of Juliet and Earl streets and approached the counter. He produced a firearm and threatened the 30-year-old male employee before fleeing with some cash.

The man was last seen running east on Juliet Street.

He is described as being approximately 177cm tall, 18-20 years of age, slim build and of Pacific Islander appearance. He was wearing black hooded jumper with a white circle logo on the front and a red baseball cap.

No one was physically injured during this incident.
