October 1, 2011 – Update – Charges Laid – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Wynnum West

Police have charged two men after the armed robbery of a Wynnum West service station last week.

It is alleged around 4am on September 27, two men entered the Preston Road business allegedly armed with a long piece of wood.

A shop display was allegedly damaged and a black metal cash draw was allegedly stolen during the incident.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old man will appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with armed robbery.

Police investigations are continuing.
