Police have arrested and charged two men following a brawl at Goulburn overnight, in which a man was allegedly hit with a schooner glass.
Police have been told the men were from two groups that became involved in a fight at a hotel in Auburn Street about 8.30pm.
A 20-year-old man required nine stitches to a large cut to the back of his head after he was allegedly struck several times by a man holding a schooner glass.
An 18-year-old man was also treated in Goulburn Base Hospital after he sustained a serious injury to his right hand, allegedly during the same incident.
The older man has been charged with affray and common assault, while the teenager has been charged with reckless wounding and affray.
Both have been granted conditional bail and will appear in Goulburn Local Court on 9 November 2011.
