Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pharmacy at Manly this evening.
Initial information suggests just after 7pm a man armed with a knife entered the Manly Road store and made demands for medication. The female attendant handed the man a quantity of medication and he then ran from the store.
The woman attendant was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, about 188cm tall and with a solid build. He had his face covered and was wearing a dark T-shirt, black knee length shorts, white socks and shoes.
Police investigations are continuing.
