January 19th, 2012 – Armed Robbery Update – Gaming Venues – Melbourne

Police have arrested a 19-year old man this morning after a string of armed robberies which were carried out in the northern suburbs over the past eight months.

The man, of no fixed address, was arrested in Hadfield just after 7.30am.

The man is currently in police custody and his expected to be charged in relation to a number of armed robberies on gaming venues dating back to June 2011.

He is expected to front the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
