Police have charged a 31-year-old South Brisbane man following an armed robbery that occurred in Ascot yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged that around 3.30pm, a man entered a liquor store on Racecourse Road and threatened the male employee with a firearm.
It is further alleged that the man has left the store with a sum of cash.
The man has been charged with armed robbery and obstruct police.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today
