Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Ashgrove this evening.
Around 6pm, a man has entered a liquor store on Waterworks Road and produced what appeared to be a firearm.
He has demanded money from a male store employee, who has complied and handed over a sum of cash.
The man has then left the shop and was last seen running down Ennis Lane.
No one was physically injured during this incident.
The man is being described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 175cm tall with a solid build and brown eyes.
At the time of the offence, he was wearing a blue hooded jumper, light knee length shorts, and joggers.
