Police are investigating the break and enters of five Logan businesses, believed to be linked, from overnight.

Initial information indicates that just after 1am offenders gained entry into a Meadowbrook takeaway business through the front glass windows of the Edenlea Drive shop.

Thieves struck again sometime between 9.30pm and 2.30am by driving a stolen red Hyundai Getz through the plaza entrance and breaking into a store inside a shopping centre located on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Regents Park.

Police discovered an attempted break and enter at 4am at a tobacco shop on Kingston Road, Waterford West. It is believed the same vehicle may have been used to gain entry into the store.

Offenders also smashed a glass window of a bottle shop on Gleneagle Road at Loganholme around 4.15am.

A Slacks Creek convenience store was also targeted, with a vehicle being reversed through glass doors at the Queens Road business just before 5am.

At this stage, it is still unclear what, if any, property or cash was stolen from the businesses.

Police located the stolen car on Meakin Road at Slacks Creek around 7am.

Police believe one of the offenders was a man who was wearing a white t-shirt around his head and dark clothing and the other man was wearing a white hooded-jumper with black sleeves.

Officers believe these incidents may be linked and investigations continue
