It will be alleged that a man entered a pharmacy on Blackwood Street around 5.00pm, threatened staff members before stealing a quantity of drugs.
It will be further alleged that the man was involved in several property offences in Brisbane’s western suburbs.
An off duty police officer identified the man last night and provided information that lead to the arrest.
The 28-year-old Burleigh Heads man has been charged with one count of armed robbery, three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of enter premises with intent and two counts of enter premises.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
