Police have released CCTV images of a person they wish to speak to in relation to a series of armed robberies in south west Sydney.

Since Wednesday 7 March 2012, there have been five robberies committed in the Holsworthy and Wattle Grove areas:

  • Armed robbery of a 27-year-old man in a carpark near Holsworthy Railway Station about 8.10pm on Wednesday 7 March 2012;
  • Armed robbery of an 18-year-old man at Holsworthy Railway Station about 11.45pm on Friday 9 March 2012;
  • Armed robbery of a 36-year-old man on Delfin Drive, Wattle Grove at 9.20pm on Sunday 11 March 2012;
  • Armed robbery of a 15-year-old male in a shopping centre on Village Way, Wattle Grove about 9.30pm on Sunday 11 March 2012.
  • Armed robbery of a 32-year-old man near the Holsworthy Railway Station about 12.30am on 14 March

In all four armed robberies, a knife was used. Descriptions of the offender, as provided by victims, also indicate the robberies may be linked. 

Detectives from Liverpool Local Area Command are investigating the robberies and believe the person depicted in the CCTV image may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The person is described as male, Maori/Pacific Islander in appearance, between 160 – 170cm tall, with a solid build and shaved dark hair.
