Police are searching for two men following an armed robbery at a Diamond Creek gaming venue last night.
The incident happened at 11.15pm, when two men, armed with knives, gained entry to the closed gaming room of the Main Hurstbridge Road tavern.
The men, who were wearing balaclavas or similar, threatened two staff members and demanded cash.
The men were given an amount of cash by the attendants before fleeing out a back door.
Police believe the offenders ran off along Main Hurstbridge Road towards a football oval.
No one was injured in the robbery.
