Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Townsville pharmacy last night.
Around 9.55pm a man entered the Ross River Road shop and threatened staff with a knife whilst demanding medication.
The staff complied, and the man fled the scene on foot with a quantity of drugs.
He was last seen running west along Ross River Road.
The man is described as having an olive or tanned complexion, approximately 177cm tall and of a proportionate build. He was wearing a t-shirt wrapped around his face.
Investigations are continuing.
