Police are investigating a second armed robbery at a service Station at Runaway Bay yesterday.

Shortly before 9pm last night a man entered the Broadwater Street business armed with a knife and threatened the male attendant, demanding money.

After obtaining an amount of cash the man then fled the store and was last seen running along Broadwater Street.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 188cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, jeans, black shoes and gloves.

The 33-year-old attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.

The same business was also robbed earlier in the day and police are investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
