Between about 2.30am and 3.00am, a man entered the Caltex Starmart located on Benara

Road, Central Beechboro Shopping Centre. He threatened a staff member and demanded

money.

The man was given some cash before he turned walked out of the store, at which time he

appeared to be carrying a black handgun. He was last seen running away in the direction of

Hungry Jacks.

The man is described as being fair skinned, approximately 175 –

180cm tall, clean shaven and of solid build. He was wearing a

dark coloured beanie, a dark coloured jacket with white vertical

stripes down the outside of the sleeves and dark coloured pants.
