Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel at Nudgee last night.

Just after 10pm two men, one of them armed with a firearm, entered the Nudgee Road premises before threatening staff and patrons.

The pair demanded staff handover money from tills.

Employees complied with their demands and the men fled the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

One of the men is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 185cm tall with a slim build and blue eyes.

The other man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall with a slim build.

They were both wearing balaclavas.

Police investigations are continuing.
