18 September 2012 – Armed Robbery – Business Premises – Morwell

Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at a business premises in Morwell overnight.
Detectives from the Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit have been told a man entered the premises on the corner of Princess Drive and McDonald Road shortly before midnight.
He was armed with a knife and demanded the staff member give him money.
After being provided with a small quantity of cash he has left the premises on foot.
The staff member was not injured during the incident.
The man was wearing a balaclava and dark clothes and police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
