A man has been charged following an armed robbery at a Bundaberg hair salon this morning.
About 11.15am a man allegedly entered the Alice Street salon and threatened the female staff member with a knife. He then fled on foot with a sum of cash.
The staff member and a customer were not physically hurt.
Police located a man a short time later and clothing and a knife were located at a house.
A 42-year-old Kingaroy man was charged with two counts of deprivation of liberty and one count each of enter premises with intent and armed robbery.
He remains in custody and is due to appear at the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday.
