Oxley police have charged four men in relation to a number of linked armed robbery and other offences that occurred in South East Queensland over the past year.
The first armed robbery occurred on June 6, 2011 at a bank on the intersection of Kerry and Beaudesert Roads, Acacia Ridge.
The second armed robbery occurred on July 31, 2011 at a service station on Robertson Road, Eastern Heights.
The third armed robbery occurred on August 11, 2012 at a service station on Beenleigh Redland Bay Road, Cornubia.
As a result of investigations, Operation Juliet Perspective was launched and police executed two search warrants this afternoon at a property on Zachary Street, Eagleby and Parinari Street, Algester.
A 34-year-old Algester man has been charged with two counts each of armed robbery with violence, deprivation of liberty, stealing, producing dangerous drugs, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two charges under the weapons act and with one count each of common assault, wilful damage, stealing as a servant and possession drug.
A 51-year-old Eagleby man has been charged with two counts each of stealing and producing dangerous drugs, and one count each of armed robbery with violence, deprivation of liberty, wilful damage, common assault, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs and fraud.
A 26-year-old Algester man has been charged with four counts of possession of a dangerous drug, two counts each of armed robbery with violence, deprivation of liberty, stealing and one count each of common assault, wilful damage, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of a dangerous drug.
An 18-year-old Kingston man has been charged with one count each of stealing and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
All men are due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police investigations are continuing.
