Police investigations into an armed robbery in which a 43-year-old man was shot at Nobby this afternoon continue.
The man was standing inside a convenience store in Tooth Street around 3.45pm when an unknown man entered, confronting the victim before stealing his car keys and discharging a firearm once.
The victim was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. His injuries are believed to be non life threatening.
The offender left the store and fled the scene in the victims white 2000 Holden Statesman sedan, similar to the one pictured, Queensland registration 321 JVQ.
A teenager male shop assistant was uninjured.
The man is described as aged between 35 and 45 years, approximately 180cms tall with a tanned complexion and brown hair. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet, balaclava and dark clothes.
