Police are investigating an attempted burglary at a convenience store in Maryborough overnight.

At around 1.30am it is alleged a utility attempted to reverse several times into the front door of the store on Pallas Street.

Nothing was stolen, however the store received significant damage.  The offenders were disturbed by a member of the public and drove up Churchill Street towards Cheapside Street Maryborough.

The vehicle  appears to be a blue Toyota Landcruiser utility, with five lights on the roll bar, drivers side snorkel, side step bar, tow bar, white Sunraiser rims and possibly white or aluminium mudguards. No registration plate was seen.

One man was wearing a dark beanie, dark vest, a long sleeve shirt, dark trousers or jeans and dark boots. The other man was wearing a red jumper and dark ¾ length shorts and a beanie.
