June 27, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Main Beach

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Main Beach last night.
Around 9.45 a man armed with a knife approached a male employee at the counter of the Main Beach Parade store and demanded money.
The employee complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the offender.
The offender fled the store on foot and was last seen heading west along Woodroffe Avenue.
No-one was physically injured during the incident.
