Police are appealing for witnesses following the aggravated robbery of two pizza-delivery drivers in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last night.

About 8.20pm (2 July), a 21-year-old man arrived to deliver a pizza to an address in Edmund Street, Queens Park.

Shortly after parking his scooter, he was approached by two men, who allegedly grabbed him and stole his money pouch, a mobile phone and the scooter keys.

The two men were last seen running towards Victoria Street.

In the second incident, a 28-year-old man attended an address in Ocean Avenue, Double Bay, to deliver two pizzas about 9.20pm, but was told that no-one at that residence had ordered them.

As he left, the driver was approached by two men who said the order was theirs. When the driver requested payment, one of the men allegedly wrestled him to the ground and stole his cash bag.

The men were last seen running with a second man through Steyne Park, Double Bay.

Police are investigating the possibility that the two robberies are related and now wish to speak with two men who may be able to help with their inquiries.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged 20 to 30, about 183cm tall and with a muscular build. He was wearing dark jeans and a white or grey hooded jumper.

The second man may have been wearing a black balaclava.
