A 23-year-old woman will appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court today after allegedly assaulting a woman in Brisbane city overnight.
A 27-year-old was walking on the Victoria Bridge when she was approached by a woman and man around 11.15pm and asked for cash. When the victim declined she was allegedly attacked by the woman.
A passing cyclist who witnessed the incident stopped and rendered assistance to the victim as the pair ran off.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor facial injuries.
Police later located the pair and the woman has been arrested and charged with one count of attempted robbery.
