14 June 2017 – Update – Arrest – Armed Robberies – Jewellery Stores – Adelaide

A man has been arrested after an investigation into a robbery at a Munno Para jewellery store, and thefts from three other stores.

Police will allege that just before 2.30pm on 4 June a man went to a jewellery store in the Munno Para Shopping Centre and stole an amount of jewellery.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.

The man also allegedly stole jewellery from stores at the Elizabeth City Centre and Hollywood Plaza Shopping Centre and Ingle Farm in the weeks prior.

The 29-year-old Blakeview man was charged with robbery and three counts of theft, and was refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
