Ongoing investigations by police at Logan Central CPIU have resulted in two teenagers being charged over an alleged violent armed robbery that occurred in Kingston last month.

It will be alleged around 8.45pm on June 18 a 21-year-old Kingston man and a woman were approached by a three boys after disembarking from a train at Kingston station.

The youths followed the pair as they walked along a pathway before one of them punched the man in the mouth, causing him to fall down.

A boy has then held a knife to the man’s neck and taken his wallet and phone from his pocket as well as his backpack and bike.

The youths then fled the scene.

The man received minor injuries as a result.

Yesterday police arrested a 15-year-old Kingston boy in relation to the matter and he was charged with armed robbery.

A 14-year-old boy from Park Ridge was also arrested and charged with armed robbery on July 17.
