Police have charged a man following an investigation into an alleged armed robbery at a convenience store in Silkstone early today.
It will be alleged the 27-year-old entered the Blackstone Road shop just after 12.30am armed with a weapon.
He threatened the employee before fleeing the store with a sum of money.
The Redbank Plains man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and has been held in custody to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on July 18.
