Police are searching for two men following a robbery with violence which occurred at a North Rockhampton motel last night.

Around 11.30, the victim opened the door after hearing a knock and was confronted by two men who forced their way into the room.

One of the men grabbed the woman victim by her hair while the other man stole a sum of cash, a laptop and two mobile phones.

The men fled the scene on foot.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police are searching for two men who are both described as being of Aboriginal appearance and both in their 30s. One of the men is described as being 175cms with a heavy to medium build with shoulder length hair, a thick goatee and wearing a dark coloured t-shirt.
