Police are appealing for information following a stabbing in Sydney overnight.

About 8.30pm (Saturday 7 August 2011), police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics were called to a licensed premises on Liverpool Street, Sydney, following reports a man had been stabbed.

Police arrived on scene and located a 19-year-old man with wounds to his right arm and lower left leg.

 

He was taken to St Vincents Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

 

Police established a crime scene and conducted a canvass of the area, but were unable to locate the offenders.

 

Inquiries are continuing.
