A man who allegedly threatened two staff member of an auto parts store at Nundah with a large wrench today has been arrested by police and charged with armed robbery.
It will be alleged that a man entered the Sandgate Road business around 2.45pm and proceeded to collect a quantity of items from the store before allegedly attempting to leave without paying for them.
When confronted by staff the man allegedly threatened them before fleeing on foot.
Patrolling police located the man a short time later in the nearby vicinity and he was taken into custody without incident.
A 34-year-old Nundah man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
No one was injured during the incident
