A woman has been arrested after a glassing attack left a man with a cut to his head in Sydney’s CBD over the weekend.

 About 10.30pm on Saturday 13 August 2011, a 35-year-old man was with friends at a licensed premise on George Street, Sydney.

 Police have been told that the man touched a female employee of the business on her leg.

 She then allegedly threw a glass bottle at the man which hit him on the head.

 The man suffered a cut to his head and facial bruising and was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene.

 A 24-year-old woman was arrested and taken to City Central Police Station. She was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

 She was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 12 September.
