September 3, 2011 – Armed Robbery – BP on the Run – Smithfield

Police are currently at the BP On the Run service station on Main North Road, Smithfield following a hold-up there.
Just before 6am, two male offenders with their faces covered by scarves threatened staff.
One was allegedly armed with a firearm and the other with a knife.
They stole a small amount of cash before running out the back of the service station toward Curtis Road.
One offender was wearing dark clothing and navy blue jacket and the other appeared to have all red clothing with a large logo on the front of the jumper he was wearing.
Both appeared to be Caucasian.
