Police are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery of a woman in south-western Sydney today.

 The 33-year-old woman was approached by three men after she returned to her car in the car park of a shopping centre on Park Street, Cabramatta, about 4.30pm (Sunday 11 September 2011).

 The men threatened the woman with a knife and demanded she hand over money, before fleeing with her purse containing cash.

 The woman had her three young children with her at the time however no one was injured during the robbery.

 Police were notified and officers from Cabramatta Local Area Command are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

 The three men are all described as being of Asian appearance.
