Police are investigating following a report of an armed robbery in Sydney’s North West yesterday.

About 5pm (Sunday 25 September 2011), a 27-year-old man was walking along West Parade, Eastwood, when he was approached by two men armed with knives.

The man was threatened with the knives and the offenders fled the scene after obtaining his mobile phone.

The victim did not suffer any injuries.

Police were notified of the incident shortly after and investigations commenced.

Police now wish to speak to two men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries into the incident.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance with blonde hair and a ‘rat’s’ tail’. He is also described as being aged in his 30s with a medium build and about 178cm tall. At the time he was wearing black tracksuit pants and a polo shirt.

The second man is also described as being Caucasian in appearance with brown hair and of thin build. He was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
