September 26, 2011 – Aggravated Armed Robbery – Laundromat – Parafield Gardens

Police are currently at the scene of an attempted aggravated robbery at Parafield Gardens.
Just after 7.30pm a man entered a laundromat on Andrew Smith Drive armed with a large piece of wood and threatened the attendant and customers demanding money.
Several customers overpowered the suspect who fled on foot empty handed.
The suspect is described as being of aboriginal appearance, about 180cm tall, stocky build and wearing a white singlet, dark pants, dark jacket and had a black and white bandana covering the lower part of his face.
No one was injured.
