Police are investigating the armed robbery of two people last night in Browns Plains.
Initial investigations suggest that around 11.40pm three men exited a light coloured sedan on Waller Road, and approached a man and a woman who were walking along the footpath.
Two of the men were armed with what appeared to be a crowbar and a fence paling, when they demanded personal belongings from the victims.
Upon handing over some property the male has allegedly been punched in the face several times. The female victim was also assaulted when she was struck with the fence paling.
The three men fled the scene with the man’s property, and were last seen driving along Waller Road towards Browns Plains Road.
All three men were wearing bandannas across their faces, two of the men were wearing dark coloured full-length clothing and the third man wasn’t wearing a shirt.
A fourth man stayed in the driver’s seat of the car.
Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch detectives are investigating.
