Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Ballajura last night.
Just before 8pm, a man entered the store on Illawarra Road armed with a large knife and made a demand for cash and drugs.
Staff handed over a quantity of both, which he placed in a green shopping bag before forcing those in the pharmacy to sit on the floor as he left the premises.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as being around 182cm tall with a medium to solid build and was wearing a white hooded jumper, red bandanna over his face, black pants, black shoes and white gloves.
