Sturt Police are currently searching the Edwardstown area for a man on motorbike following an armed robbery a short time ago.
At about 3.15pm, a man armed with a firearm threatened a console operator at a BP service station on Daws Road at Edwardstown.
He demanded money and fled with cash from the till.
The suspect was wearing a motorcycle helmet and brown leather jacket and fled on a black sports motorbike with no number plates.
There were no injuries.
