Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at North Sydney.

About 1am today (Saturday 26 November 2011), four armed men entered a hotel in Blues Point Road and demanded money from staff and patrons.

The men were given a sum of cash and they then left the premises.

No shots were fired and no-one was injured as a result of the alleged incident.

Police have a limited description of four men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

They were last seen wearing blue or grey tracksuits with hoods, running shoes, and with masks or scarves covering their faces. One of the scarves has been described as being black in colour with white block writing.
