Police are investigating two armed robberies on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

Around 3.20pm a man entered a convenience store on Frank Street at Labrador and produced a firearm.

The man demanded money and the attendant complied. The man then fled the store.

Around 3.30pm a man entered a bottle shop on Brisbane Road at Labrador and produced a firearm.

The man demanded money and the attendant complied. The man then fled the store and was last seen on Turpine Road.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a fair complexion and grey hair. He is believed to be aged in his 40’s, around 178cm tall with an average build.

He was wearing a grey jumper, dark pants, a black baseball cap and white joggers.
