Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a store at Keppera this morning.

Around 10:40 a man entered the Dallas Parade store and produced a small knife, demanding money.

The shop attendant responded with a length of plastic pipe causing the man to run from the store empty handed, knocking over a display stand on the way.

He was last seen turning the corner at the end of Dallas Parade.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as having a pale complexion, with black curly hair, of slim build and 187cm tall.  He was wearing ¾ length black shorts, black shoes, white socks, black hooded jumper and black sunglasses.  He also had cloth covering his face.
