Police are appealing for information from the public following an armed robbery in Berkeley in the state’s south yesterday.

About 9.30am (Tuesday 13 December 2011), three men entered a business on Winnima Way. Once inside, one of the men threatened staff members with a large knife before demanding money be handed over.

An amount of money was then handed over to the men, before they escaped from the scene in a stolen motor vehicle.

All three men are described as being of Caucasian appearance with slim builds. At the time of the incident, they were all wearing dark clothing.

The stolen vehicle used by the men was a red Toyota Lexcen (registration BNX92N). It was later recovered in a reserve on Holborn Street in Berkley.
