December 17, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Ipswich

Ipswich police are searching for a man who robbed an Ipswich hotel this morning.
Preliminary information indicates that around 8am a man armed with a firearm entered the Brisbane Street premises and threatened a male employee before fleeing with a sum of cash.
The man is described as approximately 180cms tall and spoke with what sounded like a Pacific Islander accent. He was wearing shorts, a dark coloured hooded jacket and a bandana covering his face.
No one was injured and police investigations are continuing.
