Staff at The Wingham Golf Club have spent the day assisting police after an armed hold up overnight.
Just after midnight, at least three men armed with machetes, allegedly confronted several male staff members as they were closing the bar area.
The men, who had their faces covered, demanded cash before fleeing with a substantial amount in a white getaway car moments later.
No-one was injured and the club says it will add extra security this week.
