January 13, 2012 – Armed Robbery – Post Office – Seaton

Police are investigating and aggravated robbery which occurred at a Post Office in Seaton today.

Just after midday, two suspects entered the Tapleys Hill Road store armed with objects that are yet to be identified and threatened staff demanding money.

The suspects left with an amount of money and were seen getting into a stolen red car which was found abandoned at West Lakes a short time later.

No one was physically injured during the event.

Investigators are viewing CCTV from the store with the hope of identifying the suspects.

There is no further description of the suspects at this time.
