Police have charged a man following an armed robbery that occurred in Gladstone on January 25.

It will be alleged that a man has entered the Chapman Drive bottle store around 8.45pm with what appeared to be a firearm.

It will further be alleged that a man has demanded cash from the attendant before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was physically harmed during the incident.

A 22-year-old Kirkwood man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court today.
