16 February 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Double Bay

A crime scene has been established following the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Sydney’s east tonight.
Shortly before 9.30pm (Thursday 16 February 2012), two men entered the shop on William Street, Double Bay, and threatened a female employee with a knife and screwdriver.
The men, who had their faces concealed, demanded money before fleeing the store with cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
The offenders left the scene in a blue-coloured vehicle which was parked outside.
Police were notified and officers attached to Rose Bay Local Area Command attended, established a crime scene and are conducting a canvass of the area.
