Police are investigating the armed robbery of an Algester service station overnight in which a sum of cash was stolen by two men at knifepoint.
Shortly before 11pm, two men entered the Algester Road store and threatened the male attendant with knives before fleeing with a sum of cash.
They were last seen on Ridgewood Road heading south on foot towards Parkinson.
Both men are described as Caucasian and between 175 and 180cm tall. They were wearing hooded jumpers, one white and one dark, face coverings and tracksuit pants at the time.
The attendant was not physically injured during this incident.
