2 March 2012 – Armed Robbery – Drive Thru Bottle Shop – Ottoway

A man allegedly armed with a meat cleaver threatened staff before stealing cash from the bottle drive-thru area of the Grand Junction Tavern on Grand Junction Road, Ottoway.
Alarms were activated at 11.30pm and despite a police dog following a track of the offender into a nearby street it appears as though there may have been a waiting car.
The offender is described as being aged in his mid 20’s, short dark brown hair and wearing a blue and white hooded jumper under a white tracksuit top.
