Two men will appear in court today facing charges over the armed robbery of a Guildford service station earlier this month.
Shortly before 10pm on Friday March 9, two men entered a service station on Fairfield Road, Guildford West, allegedly armed with a baseball bat and a machete.
Police will allege the men threatened the 25-year-old attendant before stealing a sum of cash, cigarettes, and the attendant’s personal iPhone.
The two men ran from the store and the alarm was raised.
Following an investigation into the robbery police yesterday charged two men at Merrylands Police Station with robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
The men have been refused bail and will appear in Fairfield Local Court today.
